I did this last week and e mailed it to 6 friends as Townsville has been on the news with flooding this week.
To my suprise it circulated quickly on the net and the hotel has been bombarded with calls from all over Australia and even as far as England. It was in the local paper and then appeared on National news two mornings - one to clear up the fact it was only a computer manipulation.

This is great, my cousin in mount Isa came back for a bit the day it was first in the paper he mentioned getting an email with this picture. He thought it was for real, I had to say hey if this was for real, I think all of Townsville would know about it.. nice job fooling everyone and I'm sure this one will go down in urban myth history.. :lmao:

LOL who's been a naughty boy then?! LOL i recieved this in an email from a mate of mine - evil of you to circulate just as it was pissing down rain LMAO I'm living on the side of castle hill and it did make me wonder for about ten seconds.. until i realised flooding couldnt raise the sea level that high =p for a while i thought it must have been a photo from the storm surge of the last cyclone - like 10 yrs ago or something =p i told a mate, and later we read the bully LMFAO!! fantastic work! it really is quite flawless!!
